The Tour Committee is proud to announce TD2000 as the 2019 Featured Marque. the TD2000 is Australian built and a modern homage to the classic MG TD of the 1950's. We will be working very closely with the TD2000 Owners Group who will be holding their National Rally in conjunction with the 2019 Tour to ensure a wonderful gathering of this unique piece of Australian (and local) automotive history.

Saturday - Macedon Grand Tour
Autumn – there's no better time of the year to tour Central Victoria in a classic car. Enjoy the full range of experiences that the region has to offer - farmer's markets, wineries, cafes, antique shops, beautiful gardens, spectacular countryside and smooth, traffic free roads, all set against a backdrop of glorious autumn colour.
The GREAT Macedon Grand Tour provides the perfect opportunity for owners of vintage, classic, or future classic vehicles (manufactured in or prior to 1994) to enjoy a day of spectacular touring and good food in the Macedon Ranges Tourist Region.
The 2019 GREAT Macedon Grand Tour will again "Flag Off" from outside the Old Gisborne Courthouse at 9am, with the entry fee including a cooked breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and the Grand Tour Dinner in the Kyneton Town Hall.
For those with more time to spend in the region there are a variety of optional events before and after the Tour, including Dinner on the Friday night featuring a guest speaker, and a "Picnic in the Park" in Gisborne on Sunday.
Sunday - Picnic in the Park
The Picnic in the Park is an informal get together of Tour entrants, more of an opportunity to continue conversations from the previous day, and avoid the long night-drive home after the event.
The Gisborne Old Time Market is a wonderful local attraction, and entrants of the GREAT Macedon Grand Tour "Picnic in the Park" get close parking as well as the opportunity to explore the market from 10 am.
Although a trophy is presented, a car does not need to be a concours showpiece to win. The President’s Choice Trophy is based upon the motoring dreams and aspirations of the Tour President, and is an acknowledgement of enthusiasm and passion, rather than hours of polishing paintwork and chrome to perfection.
The winner receives a unique Grand Tour Trophy and a pack of car care products from Meguiar’s, the total car care company.
Everyone is welcome to join the picnic, so come along with the family and enjoy the John Aitken reserve and the classic cars.
The vehicles will be on display from 10am till around 1pm.
FREE to Tour entrants
