Sunday - Picnic in the Park
The Picnic in the Park is an informal get together of Tour entrants, more of an opportunity to continue conversations from the previous day, and avoid the long night-drive home after the event.
The Gisborne Old Time Market is a wonderful local attraction, and entrants of the Macedon Ranges Grand Tour "Picnic in the Park" get close parking as well as the opportunity to explore the market from 10 am.
The President’s Choice Trophy is presented on Sunday and can only be awarded to the owner of a car that is on show in the park. The car does not need to be a concours showpiece to win. The President’s Choice Trophy is more than just pure originality or polishing the paintwork and chrome to perfection. The Trophy is awarded to the participant who embraces the classic car culture the most; it is an acknowledgement of the enthusiasm and passion for owning and enjoying their car for what it is and in the manner for which it is intended.
Everyone is welcome to join the picnic, so come along with the family and enjoy the John Aitken Reserve and the classic cars.
The vehicles will be on display from 10am till around 1pm.
