2025 - The First Tour since Covid - a triumphant return!

Saturday 4th October 2025 - 51 cars - 279km

Everyone enjoyed a healthy breakfast at the Gisborne Mechanics Institute, with the cars gridded up outside in the Hamilton St slip lane.  After the 9.00am flag off, the Tourists headed half way up Mount Macedon before turning off through Baringo and into Wooling Hill Gardens. Morning tea was catered by the Riddells Creek Basketball Club at the local primary school.  A scenic second stage took the Grand Tourists through picturesque Pyalong before stopping for lunch at Kilchurn Winery in Romsey.  Kilchurn is home to one of Australia's only four Real Tennis Courts and the Tourists were given a display of this ancient game while enjoying their lunch.  The afternoon stage took Tourists out to Trentham, before heading back to Paramoor Winery in Carlsruhe for some lovely wine and cheese for afternoon tea.  It was a great end to the day before saying some good-byes to those of our contingent who did not go on to the final dinner at Glen Erin at Lancefield.
